Rider University
Daly Dining Hall
Lawrenceville, New Jersey

Size: 23,175 sf
Schedule: Completed 2002
Recognition: 2002 AS&U Architectural Showcase

This project involves the renovation of an existing 1960’s dining hall. The new work provides a range of dining experiences in an open layout that affords every occupant a view of nature beyond. Within the larger space are multiple dining spaces and a lounge with moveable seating and tables that is anchored by an open pit fireplace.

A period style diner that remains open until late evening is provided off the main entry vestibule.

Completing the design is a new outdoor plaza for dining al fresco.
