Rutgers University Frelinghuysen Residence Hall Receives an ‘Outstanding Design’ Award from American School & University Magazine
Our addition and renovation to a 1950s residence hall on Rutgers University’s historic campus received an Outstanding Design award from American School and University magazine in its 2010 Educational Interior Showcase. The design preserves the typology of the existing International Style building, by enclosing the lower level open-air space, with a transparent addition that creates new lounges, classrooms and study areas while preserving campus views to the river.
